Too often we convince ourselves that massive success requires massive action, and while I am ALL for a balls to the walls blaze to glory it OFTEN causes more problems than good.

We put immense pressure on ourselves to make earth shattering improvements to EVERYTHING NOW.

And this may be a habit of each new course, new mastermind, or new coaching container. THIS IS THE TIME to do it, you go ALL in…. Just to fall back into old patterns, likely before it even finishes. 

I saw this when I used to offer 1 off consulting calls. I would say: “Choose ONE specific area to work on during our call” & sometimes I got a laundry list that looked something like:

“Learn how to sell from my bodygraph, come up with a program, address money blocks, & map out my next year” 

A recipe for failure & completely unrealistic.

The truth is most people are SO chunked up that they are overlooking the 1 percent (maybe even not overly remarkable) shifts that add up to powerful results! 

From Atomic Habits (one of my fav books):

“Here’s how the math works out: If you can get 1% better each day for a year, you’ll end up 37% times better by the time you’re done. Conversely, if you get 1%worse each day for one year, you’ll decline nearly down to zero. What starts as a small win or a minor setback accumulates into something much more”.

And I don’t just see this in business. I saw this (we all see it every Jan) in fitness. Instead of small changes everyone throws their entire world upside down to FINALLY get fit… and what happens?

They quit. 

It just wasn’t for them.

They never had the time.

It can’t work for someone like THEM because of (kids/ health issues/ etc etc). 

I have seen it all in both fields. It isn’t exclusive to business.

The truth is: ✨Your outcomes are a lagging measure of your habits✨, therefore what is your current trajectory telling you?
