What About Specific vs Non Specific Manifestation

Specific vs non specific manifestation does NOT exist in Human Design.

Uniqueness fundamentally means that there is no one as good at being you as you, and no one that sees the world the way you do (perspective). We only get messed up when the mind jumps in & starts measuring things (Good/ bad, right/ wrong). This uniqueness IS your unfair advantage in business!

Being aligned with your perspective requires a very  deep level of surrender.  When your mind is no longer occupied with having to control your life everyday you are free to actually SEE what you are meant to see.

Ra Uru Hu said: This is about seeing how the way in which your life unfolds is a very natural thing that does not require your control.

Perspective does not operate independently.  To see what you are meant to see you have to be in the correct environment to see it.  Environment & Perspective are a timeline of your life:

Be in the right environment, see what you are meant to see.

There is also a counterpoint to Perspective, called distraction.  Knowing how your Perspective and Distraction can show up for you gives you two wonderful signposts that make for fascinating observation of our form and allow us the magic of being the witness of the mechanics of our being at work.

For example, if you have a Color 6 (like myself!), you are designed to see things in a very Personal, almost narcissistic way - but that is what is correct for you. The homogenized world can stigmatize you for this kind of view, pressuring you to feel like there is something wrong with you and pressure you to see life the way others do.

Personal View people can be easily distracted to see life the way others do, comparing themselves to others, and developing an interest in Power games. When Distracted by what is not correct for you, it can pull you out of your personal experience to see in a different way. 

Now, a certain amount of distraction is healthy when it doesn’t take over your life. The key here is to not get caught up with identifying with the Distraction or follow when it leads you away from fulfilling your unique purpose.

This Perspective/Distraction dynamic gives you the ability to ground your decisions from a view of the world that is correct for you. It’s an amazing gift - especially helpful to feed your personality consciousness. Seeing from your unique Perspective cultivates an incredibly unique & life changing perspective on the world, business, others, & your uniqueness. Your awareness of when you see clearly as yourself, and when you don't, helps to disempower the Not-Self mind's justifications, rationalizations, and therefore decisions that it wants to make in your life.

Where I recommend starting:

Ra Uru Hu did not suggest diving into variables for the first two years of experimenting. From my experience working with thousands in Human Design, and witnessing those that see incredible progress & those that get lost in the weeds (information) I 100% agree with him here.  In fact, it isn’t even until over 2 years into your education with the IHDS that variables are even touched on. For those 2 + years in, with a SOLID embodiment of their strategy & authority, I will have an upcoming high level mastermind for you so we can address these high level concepts.

For those just beginning I would NOT worry about the nuances.  You will get bogged down.  I would FIRST focus on strategy & authority.  If you continue to make decisions from the not self mind more information won’t help you or your alignment.  

Second, start becoming curious with your right or left view.  Where are you grounded within your perspective?  When do you get pulled out thinking you should be more logical (right perspective) or be more experiential (left perspective), for example. 

Taking on too much at once, or trying to balance too many aspects, can simply lead to a lot of information with little to no embodiment.  Trust the process.  As Ra said: “Do without doing & everything will get done”!  It isn’t about attachment, it is about being an enthralled audience to your life.
