As soon as fear kicks in, or doubt shows, they jump back into the familiar, even if grossly uncomfortable or downright painful.
Having worked with thousands of people in the self development & health industries I have noticed the #1 hurdle when seeking to achieve anything great. This hurdle is the inability to commit to the process long enough to have any significant breakthrough in creating all that one desires.
Conditioning, has set us up to desire immediacy (Amazon prime as an example) while our very brain & biology is created to avoid anything uncomfortable.
A mentor at the IHDS once said "The not self voice gets louder when we are in alignment as it is losing control". Another example of why people quit before the significant breakthroughs in deconditioning, healing, & achieving greatness (whatever that means to the individual).
This is NOT a conscious choice, of course.
It is unconscious shadow patterns & conditioning that is often below the surface of the mind.
This is why we, as humans, can be SO determined to change our lives, yet, our unique mechanics keep us in the same self sabotage patterns over & over again.
Breaking through this programming, which creates self limiting thresholds, requires commitment to the long term process...
And a willingness to surrender the (attempted) control of the mind.
This process takes discipline, focus, & state of radical ownership over ourselves & our actions as we begin to carve new neural pathways in our brain, and therefore behaviour, shaping the very fabric of our reality.
From here we begin planting seeds in the right soil, soil in which our dreams can actually grow.

Ashley's work utilizes a unique grand synthesis married to no one system or approach. Ashley started as a counsellor in the mental health field, however her true awakening journey involved a series of inner journeys and initiations that led her to an intimate understanding of the mechanics at play within ourselves & the collective, as well as the unconscious mechanisms that are a part of the collectives storyline at this time. While she had a lifelong interest & study in Astrology, this deeper awakening led to studies in Gene Keys & Human Design to bring depth to her own experience as well as support others at a deeper level.
Her fascination with the polarities of the light & the dark aspects of existence started with her study of risk vs resilience in her Masters of Social Work. This then led into a very Jungian approach & interest in the archetypes that express our unique journey on this plane. This is often seen in her work with the “Faces of the Feminine” archetypes with her clients.
